Day1
Arrive at Chitose Airport ◆Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival- An ice festival held in Lake Shikotsu hot springs in Shikotsu Toya National Park. ◆Ainu Museum One of Japan’s best museums about the Ainu, the indigenous people of northern Japan. The open air museum, which is also commonly known as Porotokotan is a replica village consisting of five thatched houses along the shore of Lake Poroto. ◆Noboribetsu Jigokudani Hell Valley of Noboribetsu is a spectacular displays hot steam vents, sulfurous streams and other volcanic activity. It is a main source of Noboribetsu’s hot spring waters.

◆ Showashinzan One of Japan ‘s youngest mountains. Accompanied by earthquakes , the mountain suddenly rose from a flat wheat field to its current height of 2 90 meters between 1943 and 1945. ◆Snow play (Rusutsu Resort) The largest resort in Hokkaido, Japan The resort is mostly famous for its ski slopes, but it also has an amusement park, golf courses and others. ◆Nakayama Pass Located near the center of N ational Highway 230, which crosses the Shikotsu Toya National Park. Nakayama Toge mountain pass with a wonderful panoramic views of Mt. Yotei, also known as Ezo Fuj

◆Otaru Canal Part of the city’s busy port in the first half of the 20th century. The canal makes for a pleasant stroll during the day, when artists present their works to passing tourists, and during the evenings when old fashioned gas lamps are lit and provide a romantic atmosphere. ◆Kitaichi Glass The oldest and most famous shop in Otaru which was founded in 1901 ◆ Ishiya Chocolate Factory A chocolate theme park consist of a free area with a shop, cafe and restaurant and a paid area with various chocolate related exhibits. ◆ Odori Park An oasis in the city center and extends 1.5 km fro m east to west that was built in 1871. ◆Sapporo Clock Tower One of the few surviving western style wooden structure building in Sapporo. ◆Sapporo Old Government Office An example of American neo baroque architecture influence in Sapporo that was constructe d back in 1888. It is also known by the nickname “red brick office”. ◆Susukino Japan’s largest entertainment district north of Tokyo . It is packed with stores, bars, restaurants , karaoke shops, pachinko parlors and red light establishments.
